Friends
More friends...
And more friends!
I will leave you with this picture of Elizabeth crossing the finish line. Words cannot describe what it was like to see her not just walk... but RUN across the finish line! God is SO good. We are giving Him glory for her life. Elizabeth... we are so very, very proud of you!Romans 5:3-4:
"More than that, we REJOICE in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces HOPE."
This was the verse that Elizabeth wanted printed on our shirts we had made for the 5K. She has several favorite verses... but this is her new life verse. She and her family have suffered, but are now able to crawl out of the valley they have been in with endurance, character and most of all hope. They will tell you that it is because they have had the true HOPE OF JESUS since the beginning.
Many of you that have followed this blog may be going through a time of suffering and Elizabeth and her family will tell you that without Jesus, there is no hope. Put your faith and trust in Him today.
Also, please pray for Elizabeth's friends that she has met along this journey that are still in the midst of their battle with a Traumatic Brain Injury:
Mark Webb has been moved to Baylor Rehab Institute in Dallas. You can read about his progress here
Bethany Cox is recovering at Shepherd Center in Atlanta GA. You can read about her progress here
Elizabeth... So excited to see you run... both physically and spiritually!!! We love you so much!

We do not know why we are allowed to suffer in one way and someone else suffers in another situation, but we do know that even Jesus was allowed to suffer, I am grateful to our Savior for His love and sacrifice and the Hope He allows us to have In Him, I am prayfully thankful for the blessings we are given and allowed by our Creator, I am so proud of E's heart and desire to stay steadfast in her faith during her young life when society tries to trip one up or lead them in a different path, and especially her strength and resolve during these many painful challenges she has faced in result of a horrible accident, Your light IS shining dear E, and that is what we are called to do, may you continue to be Blessed and be a blessing to others....Dear Child of God, you are loved and an encouragement to others that are suffering or struggling, never give up In the Lord. We are not promised a perfect life but we are promised a perfect eternity if we stay faithful to the Lords will. Jan in MO, I would have loved to see you Start the race and be wowed by you crossing the finish line! Congratulations E and Thank You Dear Lord.
