On Sunday, September 12 three best friends were involved in a car accident on I40 heading towards Conway Arkansas. Two of the passengers were rushed to Conway Regional where they were treated and released for minor injuries. Elizabeth Parsley, the third passenger was unconcious at the scene and medflighted to a Little Rock hospital.
Elizabeth suffered from a bruised lung and was set up on a ventilator to help her breathe. She has been sedated since then from the intubation. She is recovering in Intensive Care in Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has had several scans of her brain, all revealing no signs of brain swelling or bleeding. Until Elizabeth can be awake, the full extent of her brain injury (if any) cannot be known.
Elizabeth thankfully has not suffered any other injuries such as broken bones or internal bleeding. At this time doctors are awaiting her lung to heal so that sedation can be lowered and the intubation removed. At that time she can be better assessed.

This blog has been created for those who love Elizabeth to be informed about her current medical condition. More importantly, it has been created so that anyone can know of specific prayer concerns for her and that we can join together in a Petition of Prayer.

I am praying that Elizabeth will awaken very soon with no lasting side effects. She is the sister of my son, Billy, who loves her so very much and is so worried about her. I pray for him to continue to be strong and believe that all will be well. I also pray for Bill and Michelle that they will have their beautiful daughter back very, very soon. I know God is watching over them all and will take care of them.
