1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 says to "PRAY without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." That is exactly what Elizabeth needs right now is prayer. I am sure most of you feel like myself in that we are helpless. There is nothing we can do to make her better. The only one that can heal her body is THE Ultimate Healer- Jesus. Please, please, pray.
Pray. Pray that Elizabeth would wake up.
Pray. Pray for the doctors and nurses that are taking care of Elizabeth. Pray that they would be knowledgable in their specialties and can work together to make her better.
Pray. Pray for Michelle, Bill, Rachel, Billy, and Jacob. Pray for their hearts and minds to stay focused on Jesus. Pray for their comfort and that they would be encouraged.
Pray. Pray that God would be glorified through this situation. Pray that people who dont know the Jesus that Elizabeth and the Parsley's know and love would come to know Him through her life.
I know many of you want more detailed information... and there just isnt any. Elizabeth has made AMAZING progress today and at this point we just have to wait for her sweet eyes to open. If you are still wanting to help in a physical way, start by leaving a word of encouragement in the comments section below. Even if you do not know this family- just knowing that people are "praying without ceasing" is comforting and encouraging.

My precious friends Bill and Michelle - that sweet girl of yours is in our hearts, on our minds and in our prayers. I know that God knows what Ms. Elizabeth needs and He will provide exactly what that is in His own timing and in His own way. God began a good work in her and He will complete it! I lift her up to you, dear Lord. You made this sweet girl of yours and you know every single fiber of her being. Help her dear Lord - shine the light of Your love into her mind and heart and let her know that You are there with her. Comfort and strengthen my dear sweet friends as they wait. Show them how mighty you are dear God - our God is greater, our God is stronger, God you are higher then any other - our God is healer, awesome in power - our GOD! Eliabeth's God will be all that and more to her in this time of need. You are loved by us - waiting and watching in prayer with you. Watching and waiting with expectancy... Mark, Karen, Sumner and Hannah

God is going to do work on Elizabeth he is just letting her body heal first then he is going to perform miracles that we thought would be impossible... Stay strong family and friends never give up and always give God glory through everything... every bad brings out a good... God Bless
ReplyDeleteFrom The Wilson's
Just wanted to stop by and say that I am praying for Elizabeth and her entire family and friends. In ALL things may God be glorified.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure of all the injuries that Elizabeth has....I have read what little there is here in your blog. If there is a brain injury, please don't just sit with what the doctors tell you. There is some amazing work that it being done with people that have these types of injuries. I work in one of these rehabs. We have a client that the doctors told her parents, she would never do anything again. She is up walking and talking about a year and a half of therapy. Brain injuries require the right care of after care and the fresher the victim is from the accident...the better the chances are for recovery. Since she is in Arkansas, check in the Benton area for rehabs.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, I will add my prayers to the many lift up to Jesus in Elizabeth's behalf. God bless you all.
Elizabeth, I went to prayer as soon as I read your story. I'm asking God for a complete healing for His honor and glory. He obviously isn't finished with you yet or you wouldn't still be here! Believing Him for a miracle!
ReplyDeleteI am from Jacob's hometown of Floral. I didn't realize until a mutual facebook friend of Jacob and mine posted this blog that I knew anyone connected to this beautiful young lady! I immediately said a prayer for Elizabeth and her loved ones! Its amazing how you can not even know someone but you know they are a precious gift just by the words of others! May God heal her and comfort her many loved ones during this time! God Bless and keep you sweet girl!!!
ReplyDeleteDO NOT KNOW THIS VERY PRETTY GIRL,PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU..AS GOD DOES HIS ALMIGHTY HAND ON YOUR BODY TO HEAL..BLESS YOU..PRAYERS WITH YOUR FAMILY ALSO..JESUS LOVES YOU...
ReplyDeletePraying for you, Elizabeth, and the whole family!
ReplyDeleteBelieving that you will be healed, and that God will be glorified through your life in this difficult situation.
O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me. - Psalm 30:2
"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." - Matthew 21:22
"Again, I tell you that If two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." - Matthew 18:19-20
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up... ...The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. - James 5:13-16
God answered their prayers, because they trusted in him. - 1 Chronicles 5:20
"Because [s]he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue [her]; I will protect [her], for [s]he acknowledges my name. [S]he will call upon me, and I will answer [her]; I will be with [her] in trouble, I will deliver [her] and honor [her]. With long life will I satisfy [her] and show [her] my salvation." - Psalm 91:14-15
We all go through difficulties in life, some greater than others. But I know from countless experiences that when we trust in Christ to get us, or others, through those times, He will. He hears us when we call on Him, but sometimes it takes us really getting serious, and “crying out” to really move Him. “How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.” - Isaiah 30:19
I'll be praying for Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteMy God put his healing hands on you
ReplyDelete~Although I don't know this beautiful young woman, I read this blog and prayers immediately went up for her. I am a very strong believer in God and I truely believe that when praises go up, blessings come down. I will continue to pray for Elizabeth and her family. Please remember that GOD CAN and He is STILL in control.
ReplyDelete~(Matthew 21:22) Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
We praise God for tenderly holding Elizabeth in His mighty hands. She will have our prayers as long as they are needed. We appreciate the updates.
ReplyDeletePraying for this sweet girl! Although I don't know her, I have friends that do. Pray without ceasing!
ReplyDeleteDon't be afraid. Just believe, and your daughter will be well. -Luke 8:50
Dear God! I pray for that your healing hands be on this precious young girl. Let us hold our children with our arms open to you and know that you love them so much more than we could ever imagine!
"Before they were ours, they were his. Even as they are ours they are still his." Max Lucado
I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannont give. So don't be troubled or afraid. -John 14:27
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Elizabeth. You are an amazing person, and I have asked all my friends to join in praying for you! I have no doubt that God will keep his hand over you! My love and prayers are with you,

ReplyDeleteElizabeth-I don't know you, but I know God. I know God is in control and I trust in his grace to be sufficient for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteParents--know that our God loves your Elizabeth more than you or anyone else, and he will provide his perfect healing. I am thanking God for what I know he will do in all of your lives. He will give wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses. He will give endurance to friends and family. All who know of this will praise God for his miraculous works. Grace and peace to all.
Elizabeth-The Cypert Family has been praying for you continuously. Although I really only know you through the Greene's, I have followed your progress daily. My prayers have now changed to praising the Lord for your healing. I know He is capable and is doing it in His own time. So although I know you have some obstacles to overcome, I am praying by faith and praising him for a total healing. My son, Cade who you know through Kyle and Will, has added you to his night-time prayers as well. We will continue our prayers for your entire family.
ReplyDeleteI have never met you, Rachel--but you are a part of my heart. I think of you and pray for you daily. You have caused me to be more aware of my prayer life, and I am re-charged because of God's amazing grace--evident in your life. Each day, when I read of your progress, I am reminded of God's faithfulness. Kyros (I think I've spelled it correctly)GOD'S TIME. God has you in the palm of his incredible hand and in HIS time you will be whole, and people will see the GLORY OF GOD in YOU. Thank you for who you are--a child of God. I can't wait to hear of your continuing healing!
