Happy Birthday Elizabeth

Today is Elizabeth's 24th birthday.  Both of her eyes were partially open this morning for a moment. She is looking better physically every day as her face heals.  For being in a rollover car accident a week ago, Elizabeth looks extremely good.  She did have a large lesion on the back of her head that required several stitches, but other than that, just some swelling and a few superficial scratches on her face.  The swelling decreases every day and with the breathing tube removed a couple of days ago, she is looking more like the girl we know and love.

Elizabeth is about to be taken for another MRI scan. We need to be in prayer for this exam that her brain is healing and be encouraged that Elizabeth is going to continue to wake up at anytime.

PRAISE. "Thank you Lord for giving us Elizabeth 24 years ago today. Thank you for the life that she lives and the glory her life has brought you."

PRAY. "Lord please heal Elizabeth's mind.  Please allow her to wake up on your time and that she would wake up with the same personality, memory, and brain function that she had before this accident."

PRAY. "Father we pray for the MRI that Elizabeth is about to undergo.  We pray that it shows that her brain is healing and that we would be encouraged that she should wake at any moment."

PRAY. "We lift up the Parsley family to you today. How hard this day must be for them to watch their sweet girl lie unconscious in her hospital bed.  Lord we pray that they would be encouraged today and wrapped in your love."
