Elizabeth had another good night last night. We still dont have the test results from yesterday, but hoping they arrive soon and we have more good news to share. The nurse told her to hold up 2 fingers early this morning and she did! Jacob sat with her for a bit this morning and she squeezed his hand and tried to raise up when he was talking to her. She is still sleeping hard, and she hasn't opened her eyes back up since the little they opened yesterday.
Praise the Lord who is hearing our prayers! We are not forsaken. Our God is Greater and His word promises to hear our prayer. It also says that we shouldnt be anxious or worried and trust that He is in control.
Let us praise His name today!
PRAISE. Elizabeth is making wonderful progress. Her eyes opening yesterday, good motor skills, responding to commands... its all things we've been praying for and our Gracious God has granted our requests.
PRAISE. The Parsley family and Jacob have been encouraged. Some pretty neat "God" things happened yesterday that reminds them that they are being held in the palm of His hand. (Post later about these things.)
Elizabeth is still extremely critical. Let us lift up these requests right now as you read this that she would be healed:
PRAY. "Father God we pray that you would heal Elizabeth. We pray that the right nerves, chemicals, and function of her brain would be restored and that she would wake up. We pray whole heartedly that she would be the same Elizabeth that you created her to be."
PRAY. "Gracious Lord we pray that the tests would reveal good news. We pray that the doctors would know exactly how to treat her based on these exams. We pray for hope."
PRAY. "God we know you are the Ultimate Healer. We pray that it would be your will that Elizabeth would be healed. We pray peace that passes all understanding for her family and loved ones." Amen.
All night and today this song has been in my heart. I know that it is one of Elizabeth's favorites and I think it is the perfect reminder for us all that "Our God is Greater, Our God is Stonger, Our God is Higher than any other." It talks about how Our God is the Ultimate Healer and how He is capable of healing our sweet girl. I hope it blesses your heart today.

Praise the Lord! What a mighty God we Serve!! Im still lifting up Elizabeth each and everyday. My bible study today was this: 1 John 5:15 "And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for." I think that we can successfully say that God has answered our prayers and will continue to as well!
